Lareau Golf Tournament Raises 3,500$ for Foyer Le Passage

The 10th Annual Lareau golf tournament was a great success this year. Held at the Club de Golf le Triangle d'Or in St.-Rémi, a grand total of 3,500$ was raised for local shelter Foyer Le Passage. This surpasses the 3,245$ raised last year!

The tournament, which took place on August 25th, 2010 brought together about 100 people from the Montérégie area. There were several prizes to be won, including an iPod won by M. Yan St-Jean of Service d’Arbres Nature.

The Le Passage shelter has been operating for the past 12 years, and offers aid to children aged 5-11 years old in the St. Jean sur Richelieu area. They employ 9 full-time workers and three part-time staff.
