1955
Paul André Lareau is hired as an insurance agent at Mutuelle U.C.C. in Naperville.

1962
Paul André Lareau obtains his insurance broker certification along with his three first arrangements with two insurance companies: Zurich and Groupe Commerce.

1963
Yvon Lareau, current president, joins his father’s company.

1972
Yvon Lareau buys the company.

1977
Our broker currently holding the title for highest seniority is hired.

1989
Acquisition of the Lareau Potvin office in St-Rémi.

1990
Acquisition of the Poirier & Gravel office in St-Constant.

1993
Opening of a new office in St-Chrysostome.

1996
Lareau Insurance Brokers joins Ultima, a regrouping of independent brokers.

1999
Acquisition of the Hadley & Chartrand office in Hemmingford.

2002
Philippe Lareau, son of the current president, joins the company.

2002
Achat du bureau de Lacolle Assurances Van Vliet.

Opening of a new office in Gatineau.

Opening of a new office in Valleyfield.
Marie Lareau, daughter of the current president, joins the company.
